Membership Terms & Conditions

Association: Radiology & Imaging Technology Association (RITA)

1. Eligibility for Membership

Applicants must hold a full-time Bachelor's or Master's degree in one of the following fields: Radiography, Radiography & Imaging Technology, Radiology & Imaging Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Radiology & Imaging Sciences, Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology, Medical Technology (Radio Diagnosis & Imaging), Radiological Technology, or Medical Technology (X-ray), or an equivalent qualification in diagnostic radiology. Doctorates/PhD scholars relevant to diagnostic radiology are also eligible. Applicants must submit valid educational/professional credentials and identification.

2. Membership Categories

• Student Member – For applicants currently pursuing a full-time Bachelor's degree in diagnostic radiology. Membership will be automatically extended for one year after completion of the degree.
• Lifetime Member – For applicants who have completed a Bachelor's degree or are pursuing/completed a Master's or PhD related to diagnostic radiology.

The eligibility for each type of membership is determined solely by the Association.

3. Code of Conduct

Members are expected to uphold the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct. Any misconduct, unprofessional behavior, or actions damaging the reputation of the Association may result in suspension or revocation of membership.

4. Membership Fees

• Student Membership – ₹500
• Lifetime Membership – ₹1500

All fees must be paid as determined by the Association. Fees once paid are non-refundable. Failure to pay dues may result in temporary suspension or cancellation of membership privileges.

5. Use of Membership

Membership is non-transferable and must not be used for commercial endorsements without written consent. Members may use the Association's logo or name only with prior written approval.

6. Benefits and Rights

Members are entitled to participate in Association meetings, seminars, workshops, and vote in elections (depending on membership category). The Association reserves the right to modify benefits at any time.

7. Privacy and Data Usage

Member data will be stored securely and used only for Association purposes such as communications, updates, and events. Data will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where legally required.

8. Termination of Membership

Members may resign voluntarily by written notice. Membership may also be terminated for breach of terms, misconduct, or providing false information.

9. Amendments

The Association reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes via official communication channels.
